Igor: The Game: Review

Creating a toy on a cartoon – almost a win -win move. But, only if the animated masterpiece managed to pre -collect decent box office, to triumphantly go through at least half of the reviews written on it and, most importantly, like the kids to please the kids. If the cartoon from the very beginning turned out to be a failure, even despite the presence of original ideas, to release a game project on this dubious basis, at least arrogantly.

But there are daredevils in the world! These, obviously, include developers from the studio Legacy Interactive, not afraid to release the game of the cartoon "Igor" (In the original version "Igor") under the same name. They did not make it bad. Rather – nothing.

Crazy scientists will save the world?

On the planet malaria, crazy scientists and evil inventors lead everyone. Our main character, a small hunchback named Igor, is just an assistant to one of the stronger world. (Guessed? That’s right, Dr. Frankenstein). But this does not prevent him from striving to get into the scientific elite. To be among the elect, you just need to win the annual fair of evil science, presenting one of your inventions to the court of senior comrades.

This is how the plot tie looks from an official point of view. In reality, any semblance of the script is literally losing from the first minutes, when our four characters begin to run by a goose for each other in search of … flowers. It doesn’t matter why they are required, since as the goals of applying the collective instinct will be formally changed, but the essence will remain the same: no plot relationships. Like, who watched the cartoon, he already knows everything, but who has not yet joined – there is no need to play. Instead of the script – continuous adherence to standard arcade elements (gameplay, -.), occasionally interspersed with either the village or to the city are not bad for execution, but rather slurred videos.

And why do we need nuts ..

Of the few advantages of the project, it is worth noting the possibility of switching between the characters. Igor himself is available to us with a mechanical analogue of a magic wand, a brain on wheels with a protruding hand-manipulator (it is a gun), a kind of rabbit-black bush, erupting electric discharges and "Fresh" Igor’s creation is a girl sewn from pieces (let’s call her so for political correctness) named Eve. Unlike the rest, the only lady in the company carries everything around with the help of rough power: her main weapon is her own handle, clearly divorced by some thug. With artificial intelligence here is tight: all three inactive satellites with a tail run for "working" a hero and, at best, they are sluggishly dismissed from enemies.

The second and last advantage of the Arcade are dialogs voiced by the same actors as the cartoon. Alas, on this joy ends. The gameplay is standardized and monotonous incredibly: we run, collect everything that lies badly (our characters especially, for some reason, attract nuts), fight with ill-wishers, and at the end of each level we kick some boss.

There is no need to talk about the quality of graphics in relation to the toy in the toy. https://www.m-s.it/wp-content/pgs/ninecasino-review-is-it-worth-your-time-and-money.html Everything is at the source level here. But the control was pumped up: the camera turns automatically, the gamer cannot influence the process in any way. And it strains.

Igor: The Game – Standard Cartoon Game. Whether the source is more successful, most likely, Arkade, too, could have forgiven a lot. Now the meaning of the existence of such a project is not entirely clear.

Pros: four playable characters;pleasant voice acting.
Cons: confused plot, boring gameplay, uncomfortable management.
